All of the spacers fit the 5AT and 6MT, there aren't different versions of the spacer. For a small amount of extra power, you could get the MREV2 lower plenum but the gain for the cost just isn't worth it. The MREV2 does wonders with the spacer on the rev-up motor though. If you live in a cold climate get the copper/iso version, if you live in a hot climate get the isothermal, and if you live in a moderate climate, just get the basic version.

This is confusing, I have a 06, 6MT. Is the MREV2 "required" or "recommended?" Or is it still possible to just get the 5/16 spacer by itself? Thanks in advance

Short answer: MREV2 is REQUIRED for your 06 6MT (or at least a non-revup lower plenum)

06 6MT has the "REVUP" engine, the ports in the lower intake manifold have a different design. A spacer alone will have zero effect on a Revup engine. The spacer only works with NON-revup lower plenums, and the MREV2 is essentially a modified non-revup lower plenum.

Be very careful buying a used MREV2 off of here or ebay. Contact Tony at motordyne and confirm with him that it IS a true MREV2 before you buy. There are lots of fakes out there and people selling 04' non rev up plenums saying they are an MREV2. It's easy to tell, but you have to know what you are looking for.

The spacer is worth it, the thermal is debatable.
