Only one way to really test that - Jack the car off the ground and count the revolutions. 1 Tire revolution should be 3.3 OR 3.5 input shaft revs depending on the FD.

^I still have the original diff laying around, I'll see if I can do that later.

Not one department at the dealership could give me an answer. I was under the impression I had the 3.3 gears. Can you give me a link to where you found that information on the Infiniti site, was looking earlier but couldn't find anything.

you could count the teeth on the pinion and ring and then do some simple math. That will tell you as well, but requires removing the gearing.

here is a link for the SPECS on 2005 coupes

According to infinitihelp.com, 'Performance Tire & Wheel Package' for 03/04 includes: LSD, 18-inch wheels and titanium-finished center console.

Again, according to the same source, 03-05 5AT has 3.3FD. 3.5FD otherwise.

I just had to replace my rear tires because one of them had radials exposed.
Tells me how good the VLSD is. Best way to describe it is:
It's not an "LSD", and it's not "not an LSD".
There's no saying "Boy I'm so glad I have an LSD" with the VLSD. Always best to go aftermarket, whether you have the VLSD or not.
