battery disconnect is the easiest way. the pedal method doesn't always get rid of SES lights. be sure to pump the brake pedal after you disconnect the battery.

Thanks Chris, hopefully this will still be available the next time someone else has this issue.... Sorry I missed you at Long Beach, it was impossible for me to be there.

There's one more item everyone should be aware of after removing the negative side of the battery for any length of time other than the clock and radio stations need to be reset your G35 won't idle or run 100% for a few miles/days while the your computer relearns everything. Cold idle is low, just below 1K RPMS and SLICK failed to idle at restart a few times. No worries on the third day she was perfect once more....

Any reason why you chose to delete your check engine light? Did you know why it went off at first?

Once I saw the code I went over everything I knew of, fluid levels etc. Plus, she was running perfectly not a miss or hick up. My mistake was leaving the battery with the negative side removed for too long which ended being 8 to 10 hours. I had to reset the idle part of the ECU. Next time I get this code I'll run it by my buddy at Nissan then at least I'll know why the Check Engine Soon code was thrown.

Pedal reset ALWAYS gets rid of the SES light for me. Hard to get it right sometimes though.

Pedal method is the fastest, not always the easiest. Took me 3 or 4 tries.

yup

You need to check the reason for the CEL. If you throw a code again make sure to find out what it is. I never reset it unless i know what code it threw.
