Hey I understand ur pain went thru everything ur going thru. Right now im going thru a lot worst. My G-35 Single Turbo blew the head gasket the car ran from tampa back to Ft lauderdale fine. Took it to get the head gasket changed and the car will not turned over. Its been in the shop for three weeks now. Have any ideas what could be causing this.

Who makes the utec? TurboXS right? Contact them with the issue and see if the can help. Maybe you can show them proof of purchase and get them in communication with Jack

you ran it back and blew a headgasket? or you just wanted to rteplace the head gasket?? you tried starting and it didnt turn over? thats strange it should still turn on... where you running it hard? engine light flashing at all?

 

i called danny and he said that i should be able to reset it easy... but if that were the case then shouldnt HP logic of known that?>?

 

and how would i show them proof of purchase? i bought it used? they wouldnt care.... for al lthey know they prob think its stollen lol/

Update. Well I'm 0 for 2 for tuners so far. Hp logic is a joke. Called up turbo xs and they said it was as easy as pie to delete maps and reflash. All I need is to know how to read and have computer. Somehow the hp team can't figure it out lol. Turboxs said I can even do it myself.....hp logic really didn't make much effort especially if it's so easy. Now I'm taking it to Olympic Motorsports in margate.

 

You're having issues running the software and accessing the UTEC?

its not that hard. what version of windows? you need to use TELNET to log in and you want to use a USB A to USB B cable.

 

Well I'm guessing they had issues grtting past the code that the previous owner mapped... Or something. Soni need to reset the utech to erase all maps so that I can install and tune new ones for my application

 

They claimed they couldn't even get a base map on there,.. They said the utech is locked and if you don't find the code your screwedxxx
