Jump Starting Question. Need Help!!!
Hi Guys!
My G35 was parked for 2.5 months in the garage and when I tried to start the car it didn't show any signs of life. I tried jump starting it, but the engine wouldn't start anyway. While the jumper cables were connected everything was working except the engine which didn't start. Should I try to jump start while the battery in G35 is disconnected and, if it starts this way, then reconnect the cables to the battery so it can charge? What if the battery is not usable anymore? What are your suggestions? Any help will be appreciated!
Thanks to all,
Mike

If your charger has enough Amps available even with a completely dead battery it should start. What type of current is it pulling when you connect the charger? How many amps is your charger?

I know a 75Amp instant jump start was not enough to start
a car...and tripped my house's breaker for the garage.
You can do a quick charge using 10Amps for about one
hour, or I would recommend you use 2Amps and charge
16-18hours overnight.
Nex time, use a float charger on your car when you're
going to leave it parked for more than a few weeks.
