Passenger Valve Cover Clearance Issues

Got the drivers side valve cover off fine, now pulling the passenger one and dont have enough clearance due to a bracket on the main wire harness at the rear, see pic. Drivers side was easy as I just removed the entire harness, this side I cant.

the bolt only goes through where you can see the hole, so bracket is not bolted, i have about 1" of play but not enough to clear the cams with the covers.

Thats a tight spot but I remember that once everything forward of that part of the harness was removed, you get an extra 1.5 inches...Thats about all youre gonna get. I'm looking @ the pictures from when I did it right now, and maybe even 1.5 inches is generous!

It is a tight fit - but I pulled it out of the way slightly as I slid it into place. Scratched the paint in one little spot but other than that I made it work. Tight spot though.
