i held the compas button for so long but it wont blink

 

Do the resetting procedure described in the owner's manual, but be careful not to exceed 3 mph.

This weekend I tried to reset my compass because the readings just didn't seem right. The same thing happened to my unit, it just kept blinking even though I rode around in circles probably 20 times. Yesterday I tried it again, making certain not to exceed the 1st tick on the speedo, and after about 3 turns, it was working again. Although, I still don't think it is very accurate.
