Hi just wondering if anyone has an idea on what this could be...

Have a constant high pitch whine that does not change with engine rpm. It goes away after awhile but if I rev my engine it will come back for a bit and then go away again.

It is a constant sound, does not change with ac, pitch also does not change while in or out of gear in N or while driving.

Any thoughts would be appreciated I'm stumped..

 

What speed? Mine does it from 74-76 mph. I believe this is an unsolved problem.

It's definitely a new sound... I just don't see what it could be as it doesn't change pitch at all when I rev up the engine.. I'm thinking maybe a vacuume leak or something ?

 

OK, now that's weird. Haven't heard of that. I have heard of it happening at different speeds, but not at all times.
