Angry P0462 Code Issues

Hello everyone,

I Need help!

I've replaced both fuel pump and fuel level sensor, and my 07 G35 is still throwing the P0462 Code (Fuel Level Sensor)

When I replaced them the only thing i did not do is Purge the Gas from the system as the FSM instructed. The gas gauge also doesn't read right. HELP!! i've been dealing with this since June!

Can anyone help me with Figuring out this issue.

Cheers in Advance!

Are you sure it's the ONLY thing you didn't do, I think the steps involve unplugging the ECU and using a meter to verify a continuous circuit, same with the combination meter harness. What resistance values are you reading at the pump main harness and at the combination meter (fuel level resistance measurement)?

I wasn't getting that code, but it took me a couple tries to get the fuel pump in correctly. The float was getting hung up so it would stop reading fuel at a certain level. You might try re-installing even if you double-checked already.
