G35 slip vdc and cel all on

Hey everyone, I hope we are all doing ok. Yesterday as I was driving my 03 G35 Sedan in the rainstorm. My car kept slipping which makes sense the roads were really bad believe me not. Anyways, after 10 miles of driving which what it takes to get to my job. My Slip Light comes, VDC Light Off , CEL on...all 3 at the same time. I press the release VDC button- nothing happens. Lastly, I cut off the engine .VDC automatically will reset—well that did not happen also the Hard-Start symptoms . When try turn the engine over, it take 2 to 3 attempt... Anyhelp because I am planning on taking it to the mechanic tomorrow Monday.

John make sure you post threads in the appropriate places, this forum header specifically states "No car questions". That being said I've moved it to the appropriate place for you.

There's a very good chance one or both of your camshaft position sensors has/have crapped the bed. Scan your car for the trouble codes that have popped the SES light and my guess is you'll have either a P0340, a P0345 or both. If you're handy with a wrench these are both very easy DIY jobs but we will caution you to use ONLY Nissan sensors. Our motors do not play nice with aftermarket sensors most of the time. I've found the sensors to be cheapest on Amazon, please don't buy them from a dealership. GL with the fix and let us know what the issue was and how you fixed it.
