Iv had nothing but problems with my g35 and today after getting my car worked on it will not start. Dash lights will not come on nor the head unit but headlights and power windows will work. From research, i think its the Nissan Anti Theft System because i do not have the factory keyfob that came with the car and i think its in lockdown because it cant recognize the key because its aftermarket. I have it towed to the dealearship right now to get a new keyfob programmed will that fix my problem?

Also, NATS lockout has nothing to do with the lights on the dash not turning on. If it's a NATS/IVIS lockout the little red light on the left side of the dash will be SOLID RED when trying to crank. If you have no power with the key in the ignition and turned to the ON position then it's probably a relay in the IPDM or a fuse in the fusible link.

Intelligent key you just have to hold the fob directly on the START button when trying to start it, if you try to start without a properly configured ikey there will be a big picture of a lock in the middle of the instrument cluster.

 

Or someone/something merely disconnected your battery.

 

The battery has full voltage and i am able to turn on the headlights and lock and unlock the car but the dash will not come on nor crank.

 

Do you think it just blew the fuse?

 

That's where I would start the troubleshooting yeah.

 

Start by fully inspecting the fusible link. Remove it and check all the fuse holders.

 

But if it was the fusible link wouldn't i get no power at all?

 

Fusible link is a holder with I think 9 fuses for various electrical systems.

 

Turns out it was my ignition harness it was completely unplugged.
