Oil Pan Obliteration (Pls Help!!!)

Hey guys I ran over a rock and it obliterated my oil pan, I will have pics attached below. My question is, do you think the upper motor is damaged/seized at all from loss of oil? The motor was running for around 30 seconds after the initial impact. The oil pan was draining oil at a rate comparable to peeing after downing a six pack of beers. After getting out of the car and looking under it I immediately shut off the car and got it towed to my local mechanic, not only is the lower oil pan destroyed, but the upper oil pan was cracked and bent as well, so the subframe needs to come out to repair the car. Would you guys suggest going ahead with the repair? Or do you think the engine was running ling enough for there to be permanent damage. Anyways have a great week, thanks.

How did the engine sound during that time between when you hit the "rock" and when the engine was turned off? If you didn't really hear a difference then I'd say you probably caught it in time and minimal or no damage was done.

Engine is fine. Nothing will get damaged that quickly with low oil.

The engine was running completely fine as if nothing happened. No odd sounds.

Yeah the engine is probably fine.

Looks like you were overdue for an oil change anyways
