P0300 out of no where
P0300 out of no where
Long story short, the motor was pulled out of my car for a aftermarket cam install (JWT S1), along with the cams I went ahead and upgraded the oil pump and valve springs (JWT), those were the only thing done internally besides a water pump replacement. Timing was done correctly per FSM so fourth and so on. I put the car back together and drove it for about 4 weeks no issues what so ever and then one day I was driving to work, car ran great. Left from work to go home and car started bogging down and missing like crazy, so I limped it home. So far I have done a lot of research and have done every single test I can think of except for verifying compression which is next on the list. The misfire I am having is on the entire bank 2 side, so the car seems to be running on 3 cylinders, and I found this out by running Cylinder Power Test in NDS2. I have swapped coils, tested coils, changed plugs with the correct gap, swapped injectors with known good ones, installed maf, installed cam sensor, swapped upstream o2 sensors, installed knock sensor and sub harness (it was throwing P0327 so better to be safe) and im still having the same results. The motor sounds like it has valvetrain noise on that bank 2 side but im not sure if its the noise coming from the misfire or not, the noise does get louder as the motor revs up plus it still has the hesitation from the misfire. I did notice that my crank sensor connecter was broken but was still making a decent connection (not sure if thats involved or not). I will say my idle timing via NDS2 is around the 7-10 mark and I think its supposed to be around 15 no?
Any more suggestions before i run a compression test and pop off the front inspection covers?? This one has me stumped.
