Intake Plenum

ok so this the CRAWFORD Performance Cast Upper Intake Plenum, anyone install this yet? if they did how easy is it to do? is there a DIY out somewhere
there are at least 3 threads regarding this.. with lots of pics... 1 even started by me.. so u can get lots of info if u can find those threads. Installing a plenum is really easy just take off the bolts, swap and connect everything back.
Just finished mine which I had powder coated gloss black. It was supposed to be black chome but the powder coater messed up and now it's just gloss black. Anyway, very simple but don't be stupid like me. The instructions cleary indicate you need a 5MM Hex bit and I used a standard cuz I was impatient and didn't wanna run to the store to buy one. Well I stripped one of the bolt that attaches the throttle body to the plenum and needless to say...it turned into a huge PITA!!!
Some quick tips, before installing, but after removing the TB on the old, take each TB bolt and start to thread each into the plenum holes. Make sure there are threads there. One of mine was I think stripped by the powder coater.. Needless to say, I will have to take everything off next week and retap that hole cuz the bolt isn't going in fully.
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREAT MOD!!!! You will hear a lil extra valvetrain noise, but it's all good!
