Does anyone know if it's possible to buy a Consult II diagnostic computer from Nissan?

If you do a search, you'll find several sources for a Consult II. They are several thousand dollars whereever you get them.

I priced one at the dealerhsip last week and was told $8000 (Canadian Bucks)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm going with a cheap auto parts store OBDII scanner. ($200)
