80mph at 3000rpm

I've got about 9500 miles on my car and drive about 120 miles a day avg. 2800-2900 rpm for 80mph is what I'm getting. Avg freeway miles about 22 combination street freeway is around 18.

the only people that are gonig to have problems are the auto people so if you have a 6mt then dont worry about it... there are more than one set of gear ratios that you can end up w/ so dont worry about it. wheel size and probably rear ends have different gear ratios. so for all the people in the 2900-3100 range... thats well within the range of speedo error. in my car i do 70@3000 rpm but its only got a 3speed and redlines at 5.5k so dont worry or take the car to the dealer and waste peoples time... if you start getting things like 3500 rpm at 70 then worry.
