This entire thread is ridiculous. I think they maybe meant 7hp. Maybe even 17hp.
If you want 70hp more from this car you'll have to get FI or some monster internals (new cams and everything), an entirely new intake system (filter, pipe, manifold, valves, etc), exhaust (valves, a-, b-, and c-pipes, etc).
Keep dreaming.
FWIW I'm personal friends with a local Infiniti salesperson....he said that is totally false, there is no such chip or performance package.

The parts person at Dirito Bro's Nissan in Walnut Creek, CA recently showed me a list of Nismo R-tune and S-tune parts available now for the 350Z. I mentioned to him that I heard about the "70+ HP ECU". He responded that something is in the works but did not have an availability date.

So what the hell is going on? Is there a chip like that or what. Like everyone else is saying i HIGHLY dought there is a chip that adds 70 hp. On my jeep i added exhast, intake, headers, change the ignition everything you can think of excpet for the supercharger, and i only got a 50 hp gain. And it was a V8. But if this is true, say good buy to m3's and s4's.

why isnt there a matching thread on my350z the chip would work for both cars, its because whoever started this thread is as gullible as a 2 year and knows precisely as much about cars as that same 2 year old.

LOL.....70 HP, thats not too far off guys.....this guy on my350z.com has a piggy-back chip and is getting +35HP...WOW, it will soon go under production...check it out here (Perfect Power ECU)
