New springs/rims, and bad shake.
I have a 03 coupe with Luff M1, 19x8.5 front, and 19x10.5 rear wheels. Using Hankook k104 245/35/19 front, and 275/30/19 rear.
Dropped it with Tein S-techs, 1.2"front, 0.9"rear.
How often should I balance the wheels under normal driving conditions?
How would I know if the wheels need balancing, what signs?
How would I know if the wheels are bent?
The reason I am asking is that the steering wheel shakes after passing 75 MPH. Before 75mph everything is cool. But at 75, the steering shakes. Its a a very noticable shake.
I have already gotten the front wheels replaced and balanced. Problem is still there.
What could it be?
I am running hankook 245/35/19 and 275/30/19 tires, and the car is lowered with Tein S-techs. But I don't think its a spring or tire problem since the shake doesn't happen at all speeds but only over 75MPH. Or could it?

Do an alignment check. It might be off. I used to have the same shake problem. Were you provided with HubCentric Rings for the wheels? If you know the front wheel was off balance get all 4 balanced. I recently got ALL 4 balanced due to a horrible job a wheel company did when I bought them.
Balance
When they replaced my two front rims, they rebalanced all 4 wheels already.
But the shake problem is still there. I havn't hit any pot holes yet...knock on wood. Unless those freeway slab junctions(inch high) can thow the wheels off balance...
Some body told me that some higher end balance machine can do a better job, is that true?
If the wheels are bent, shouldn't you feel it in all speed ranges?

it might be the brake caliper. check to see if its frozen.or maybe you have warped rotors..if rims were bent , you could see it when balanceing, it would wobble like crazy on the machine. when ever it wobbles, apply light brake pressure to see if that stops it.
Rims
What do you mean by frozen calipers? I did try to tap on the brakes, the vibration did get a little better, but then again, it also got better once I let go of the gas paddles at 75MPH before I hit the brakes.
