Synthetic Oil....the answer

In the November issue of Modified Mag there is an article on synthetic oil
that answers all your questions about which type of oil to use. It talks about
film strength and friction. Royal purple oil is 400% stronger than normal
synthetic and mineral based oils. Stay informed, read the article!

My buddy works at a nuclear power plant where they test their oil before they change it and he put 10,000 miles on Mobil 1 in his 04 Civic EX and it still tested good!!!!

Okay... want to be educated? Read for a couple of months over at http://bobistheoilguy.com. Most oil articles, even the scientific ones that may seem unbiased, are skewed to favor either a brand or oil type. And your mechanic or engineer or nuclear scientist friends can provide very little guarantee as to the performance of any oil, conventional or synthetic. Oil performance and protection varies with driving style, and from engine to engine.

I will be posting my latest oil analysis results soon, and you will see that I've started varying the types of oil I use. There are differences in performance and conventional appears to be outperforming synthetics in my application.

Take a look and do some reading, but even if you don't, a filter and cheap oil change every 10,000 miles will see you past 150,000 miles easy. That's what I did for my Altima, sold it with 170,000 (if I remember correctly) and it did not burn oil and still had good power when I sold it.
