It's basically post #1 but don’t use the helical insert or the filter... I don’t think there are any variations except what I just mentioned omitting... and maybe a mounting bracket. Oh, and you could use 90 degree elbow fittings if you were so inclined as to not have the bend in the hose… but it’s actually too bulky that way IMO… if you follow post #1 and omit the two items I mentioned you will be fine.

Sorry all, in subsequent posts after my initial post, I did remove the filtering element, added elbows and fabricated a bracket of sorts. They are here somewhere . . . I was a bit green back then.

passenger side is dry

Since buying bigger can for passenger side I had small Husky filter for couple weeks on the DRIVER side and removed it today because it was completely dry – no oil. It interesting how much oil is collected on passenger side and none on driver side.

Yeah the PCV valve is where most of the oil will come from. I had a Greddy catch can on my driver's side for a while and it was almost dry when I took it off.

Ok, I tried to order this thing online at homedepot.com just to be safe coz there is not much out there anymore, I'm so excited when it came yesterday and for the love of C***** they sent me the same crap I bought form the store (HDA70403AV) I'm going to send this back and just buy an aftermarket Oil Catch Can coz this unit is no where to be found.

this is what the majority of us used:
http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/...cStoreNum=8125

I have read that some people found the same thing at Walmart too but I searched the website and couldn't find it... I've always seen this one at the Hone Depots near me... you could always order the one linked on line...

Good luck, sorry you're having so much trouble.

Aftermarket Catch Cans......!

I purchased an NRG catch can a month ago and haven't figured what I'm
going to move to make it fit. Only choice seems to be the powersteering
reservoir, plenty of flexability in the lines and the bracket can be altered.
Just need to move it either forward or back. Now that it's cooler in my
garage I can install this thing.
