Foo_G, I don't think you are on this forum much anymore but I'll reply anyway.
I was able to get to everything you mentioned but I could not confirm the timing. When trying to see what the ign #4 timing was, it was reading something really odd like -80 or something. It said that before/after. I'll have to play with the Grid and see if I can get something like -15 or -17 to show

Use the Test OnBoard for that. It will always start at -2 deg. Then you can change it to whatever you want. The actuation is totally something else. To store the value hit Done. It’s not in the Help file because that’s for our product. Nissan commands instructions are on the screen in front of you and in their service guides. Because there are thousands of these and they are different for every vehicle it will never be in our Help file.
to check:
You can immediately check your results. Go to the Grid and add the Correct Ignition … and Correct Idle RPM … sensors. They wlll reflect the current setting.

Not that I know of. to be honest, if you have tuning aspirations (na and "maybe" FI), I'd just go with the UpRev. As far as I know, they both offer just about the same diagnostics features OBDII and both have added Nissan only functions. But as you know Uprev has Osiris reflash capability and you can use their Cipher logs to aid in getting additional e-flashes.

The OBDII autoenguinity can only retard/advance 2 deg as that's the limit of the Nissan Consult control.
TS has complete control of the fuel and timing across the rpm range. But you can get just one CIPHER and two Osiris reflashes. Probably need to talk to Jared over at UpRev to confirm. You could also just get a reflash w/ no Cipher obdII cable if you can find an UpRev dealer near you in Canada
