My review of Z1's DS (MT):
![](http://i1144.photobucket.com/albums/o493/mpugeda/Z1DS.jpg)
Blue (before) = 269.6HP
Red (after) = 282.2HP
Blue is with stock DS and an r2c intake
took the car down, installed z1 DS and stock rev up airbox (someone at hill's took at interest in the r2c so I gave him a good price on it). strapped car back down and Frank did a quick touch-up tune
red is with z1 DS and my stock rev up airbox
Temps. about 68-70F
Impressions:
-Certainly feels lighter overall, can't really describe it but the difference is noticeable when punching it
-Acceleration is smooth
-Feels like it climbs through the RPM's quicker
-Definitely a slight "hollow-ey" noise in 1st gear with windows down and like others, it doesn't bother me at all
-Feels "torquier" down low
-Found an open stretch on I-95 so I took it up to 120mph with the intentions of noting any vibrations and felt none. Feels just as smooth as it did before install
Not much else to say really. Would I get it again? Yes, it's priced competitively against the CF version (which I nearly pulled the trigger on) and the difference is something I can feel with the lighter DS. It's kinda like the first time you took your car out after slapping on sway bars...if that makes any sense..
Next on the list is a lighter clutch/flywheel and changing my final drive, then the car will be at the body shop for my exterior mods.
Cheers.

I just got word that we will be receiving a small shipment of driveshafts around the middle of next week, the ones that aren't already accounted for are expected to go quick. If you would like to reserve one of the driveshafts give our sales personnel a call. 770-838-7777 9am-6pm EST Mon-Sat
