hrmm, its def a possibility. I am not sure how much the cost will be for that. I could even have one made from polished stainless steel for something like that. Cost might be similar in the end - obviously the alimunum would weigh a little less though.

let me check on that. just polished on the engine side? what about ground side?

Did u ever think of making the underpanel that goes behind the engine on an 04 coupe?? Mine ripped in half and I'd rather have a beefier one and I plan on getting your engine one also..

Making one for the Sedan guys currently as well - sedans are different from Z/G coupe because of the M brace they have that the sedans do not. I was going to put one in your box for you when i sent it out as a surprise but I had to make adjustments after the first test fit i did.

No, won't be in the box i sent - like I said, fitment was off a little and I needed to make a few adjustments. I'll hopefully have the revised prototype tomorrow along with the coupe version.

thanks TBW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so i got my Aluminum under tray in today and opened it up... the tray is much lighter than the z-speed one and the design is a lot better IMO.... the brushed aluminum looks so good that i dont even want to put on! lol. Also TBW looked out on getting the bolts for the oil door i requested..... a really big +!!! i cant wait to install it. might be a little while bc i still have to change out some clamps and wait for my polished tanks to install as well, so i dont make a mess on me AWESOME BRAND NEW TBW BRUSHED ALUMINUM UNDER TRAY!!!!

thanks TOLLBOOTHWILLEY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why are people associating lightness with a better product?

Seeing what the plate does, I would sacrifice a few ounces for more protection.

Nobody is sacrificing quality for weight.

I could make one out of steel if people wanted that...but aluminum is strong and lightweight so it is a perfect choice for this spot. Additionally it doesn't rust so an even bigger bonus!!

I have noticed that people are saying yours is lighter...I do not accept that lighter is better.

LOL. If it made you feel better I could make it twice as thick...

You overestimate the purpose of being heavy in this area.

Lighter is better if material is of similar thickness and quality.
