oh and btw, your a moron if u thought everyone was overlooking italy...preworld cup they had the 3rd best odds if im not mistaken....but you would know what the odds were since u bet on them before it started, right??

I knew from day one this would happen. I knew Italy would win the world cup. I bet on every game and won every bet. They played great soccer and they deserved it. Italy prooved so much of the world wrong, nobody except for Italians thought they would be able to win just because it was Italy. agreed but the other 20 frenchmen who played a superb tourney and a great final didnt deserve to have the cup ripped out of their hand because of one moron....but i guess your only as strong as your weakest link
gthiry you cant pick a font or spell "lose" so i wont listen to you anymore. italy has always been a good team. of course you always believed in them because you're from their. thats like saying some brazilian is going to pick the us over brazil aha.

just watched the replay. sloppy game. zidane freaked over something that was said. pretty funny but what a ridiculous move. he deserved to be thrown out. penalties were just luck really. france missed one and lost the game for themself. no one else to blame.

If the French were really that strong, a red card a couple of minutes before the 2nd OT was over wouldn't bring them down, would it? Italy did get tired in the second half and they played nothing like against Germany,which deserved to be the true final. But France got lucky more than once as well... Penalties are kind of a random way to determine the winner because they're more psychological than anything and Italy was just a hair stronger at that moment.

as for being right all along, italy won through luck. if france hadnt hit the crossbar, it might have been a different story. neither team played spectacular, it was a lackluster game. obviously you're going to support the country you're from. hell i supported trinidad til the end even though no one expected them to win a game. now stop acting like you're psychic and go celebrate somewhere in quiet.

Yes because of one moron. He is there teams heart and soul, not to mention their best PK kicker. if he would have been in, he would have been kicking 5th and the guy kicking 3rd would have been the first alternate at 6th. Granted Italy made all 5 so maybe France would have lost in the first sudden death round...or maybe Zidane would have missed...who knows...but his team definately took a HUGE mental hit without their star player in their to kick.
