Lowering 05 Coupe Question!?!

What can I use to lower just the front of the car? Looking for no more than 1 inch preferably because of camber issues as I don't want to go that route of camber kits and etc....

The rear got lowered by itself a lil because of the system. So now I want the front to be dropped as well just a lil.

Any suggestions? Any problems with doing so for just the front?

What Springs do you all recommend for both front and rear with the least drop in the rear then if it's not possible?

Thanks!!

There are lots of springs out there. Espelir gt's, h tech for 350z,
I don't know about just dropping the front though.
Have you tried a search to see if anyone has done that?

What system do you have that the back is lowered?

I cant imagine a system can lower the back half of a car that is noticable. Depending on what suspension you have. If you have the sport suspesion the H techs will only lower you about 1/2 an inch. Any other should get you to what you want with the H techs. You might try the S techs if you have the sport suspension but I dont think you can only buy the s techs. If you go with S techs you will need camber adjustment unless you dont mind burning through tires.

What does this mean?

I've never see anyone lower just the front. I've seen people put different springs in the front and the back, but that's about it.

If the back of your G really did sag, my guess is that it was caused by the coil springs. Another good reason to change all four.

I guess i'll just leave it as is for now cause I don't feel like dishing out $2k for springs, shocks, cambers, etc...

Go H-techs, its a very subtle drop and shouldn't really mess up your camber. I have s-techs and only have minor camber problems in the rear that i can live with.

I'll look into those. I was looking at Espelir GT 350Z ones and just the stock 350Z 05/06 spring/shock setup. I don't know what would be best. Thanks though for the inputs.

Keep them coming, and if anyone has pics, that would be great. Anyone have hook ups?

If you want to just drop the front, get some stock 350Zsprings and put them up front. You can get them pretty cheap on my350Z. I doubt you would have to use any new a arms.

Otherwise, go with H Techs and you won't need new a arms and camber arms. I have them on my G and my specs are ok.

yup h techs if you dont want to have camber problems.
or you could do it the old fashion way and just cut a coil off of the stock spring in the front that would lower you down some. also you could get the springs like mentioned above for about 70 shipped from the 350z boards.
if you are interested in the htechs let me know.

jason ive researched this enough. i cant remember if you have the sport tuned suspension or not. if you do, do NOT get the h-techs in the rear unless you plan on replacing your shocks as well. they are way too bouncy. however, just the front 350z h-techs will drop you about 3/4" in the front. i thought about it but im not sure if it will be too far compared to the rear. any other springs and you will most likely have to get a camber kit. some people get away with not getting it because it really varies from car to car how bad the issues are. also, i personally would only get linear springs for performance reasons.

here is the most complete spring listing i know of: https://g35driver.com/forums/brakes-suspension/65190-g35-350z-aftermarket-coilover-springs-shocks-spec-s-w-updates.html

Why would you want to lower the front only and mess up your whole suspension geometry? I too can't imagine a system that would lower the rear end more than 1/4". Do it right and lower all 4, or go with the 350Z springs, at least they're cheap.

revised have the higher spring rates...like 427 in the rear (or something close to that). The revised Z springs are the same spring rates as the 05 G sport (19" factory wheels) package.
