Jobs n Jax area

Hey guys

I have been thinking of moving back to Jax area after living in the northwest for the last 12 years

I have a degree in electronics with over 10 years of exp...

you guys have any suggestions for a good place to look for a job....

I have been looking on the job sites but some extra info will never hurt

yea i have been all over it....but sometimes going to specific company sites it easier

job market blows

Since you have background (and experience I assume) in electronics, Lockheed Martin might be up your alley (http://www.lockheedmartin.com) Here in Orlando, the company highly attracts many who have technical backgrounds esp. in engineering and design. I'm not sure if LM has a plant or division in Jacksonville but check out their website for more info.

I even have prior military so I might have to check that out.... fo the right money I will go anywhere

not sure if you could consider orlando in the "jax area" anyway

No i don't consider orlando jax area but a job is a job.... thats the way I look at it...LOL

plus it would be so nice to drive my G year around....

ive been by LM down there before, its like high security, very nice looking...you should give it a try!

Lockheed Martin requires a certain security clearence so if you have any thing in your past you will probably not get hired. However prior clearence is a big plus since they won't have to spend the time and money getting it. That **** can take a long time.
