Damn did you try any of the FBI scam units? Someone posted them for a reason and you have enough evidence where it wouldnt hurt to look into it. Get the other guy who was scammed also. Find all the evidence and get the guy before he gets to do it to someone else.

A whole LOT of information is on that slip including addresses and account numbers, etc...

+1. local jax cops might not be interested but that much $ is still a pretty serious crime, you just have to find the right agency/department.

There's just not quite enough resolution

I can make out that the last digit on his routing number is 4. Possibly ends in 74, but that doesn't do much good.

I'm sure he's deleted the original pic by now, but if we got ahold of it, it would be ovah!

Oh snap. If he is navy he is toast. NCIS will get involved for any crime over 1000 dollars. Where was the location? If he is on base i might have buddies down there who can keep an eye out for it.
