^Easier to fit lots of people in the sedan, and the two extra doors make for easier ingress/egress (i.e. getaway)

Paypal in this situation is completely useless. Definitely go to your CC company first.

im not sure what the limits are for this to be considered a police matter but thankfully paypal/cc should take care of the buyer. as for tracking this kid down, theres a fine line between teaching him a lesson and doing something stupid.

^^Says the voice of reason. Problem is that you all will talk him in to "doing the right thing" and now the cops have a record of what happened all though they will do nothing about it. Then if you are lucky and not without a huge hassle PayPal or his CC company may reverse the charge back. Then this guy will have zero punishment for what he did and move on to the next victim.

You really think that if he shows up over there, pistol whips him and takes either his money or the wheels or both that this guy will call the cops and tell them, "the guy who I tried to rip off just beat my a$$"?

Just once I would like to see one of these stories end they way it should but sadly it does not look like it will......again.

Agreed. The guy definitely deserves a beating, I don't think anyone will argue that. I did do a charge back with my credit card company as well as filing a claim through Paypal.

Like Kidcane said though, this guy will most likely get off scott free.

I agree!! Nobody is gonna confront him and he is gonna move to his next victim.. if that other guy that bought something off him did something about it and even just left him negative feedback none of this would of happened..

How did somebody just transfer this guy money? I skimmed through his post for a few seconds and thought "SCAM" right away...People need to stop transferring cash to people they don't know at all. Do some research...ask for ID, google user names, emails, real names, look up IPs etc.

Either way, too late to pay him a visit with all the posts on a public forum now. I say go for public humiliation...find his facebook etc etc...

For starters, I would spray this into his exhaust, brake calipers and hood vents.. If you already contacted the cops, that is a record leading YOU to any kind of violent attack. You have to be very smart about how you go about your business.
You also have the option of throwing bricks through his windows. If he lives with anyone, I am sure they will blame him anyways.

Honestly, I feel that at this point public humiliation and deterring future buyers/sellers from him is the only option. Otherwise there's just too much crap in this thread that can be taken as "evidence" against someone should some body actually start doing property damage or bodily harm.

What exactly made you think "SCAM right away"? The guy had a picture with his screen name and the product proving he was in possession of them. Making this statement after the fact is pretty easy to do. Hind sight is 20/20.

And it's not like I just sent him the money and that was it. We exchanged about 20 pm's before making the deal, and he came off as a solid, nice guy.

I would've never gone through with the purchase if I did not think I was protected.
