This is just pre-lim work.

How I do graphics is I do some pre-liminary drawings before I go in-depth.
It's much easier to try different quickie things before doing it all out.

I have a large font catalog to choose from, but they are at work right now. The font is nothing to worry about, right now it's just a generic windows font representing placement.

It's more about the layout and placement right now, later the graphics and text get more "sprucing up".

If anyone has suggestions, keep em' coming.

I'll be out of town for like 4 or 5 days so I'll have some more stuff mid-next week.

Everyone,

As of right now, FLFIRE is the first official member of the Florida G35 Club. Charter members are important, as there many fees that I did not expect to be running into.

Some examples are...
The fees just keep adding up.

          Dabomb,

Earlier in this thread Tony (FLFIRE) sent an e-mail to Infiniti and asked them if we had permission to use the Mt. Fuji logo as part of our club logo. He got an emphatic NO as a response.

          J-

I looked at the designs and am leaning toward the one with the state of FL outlined and the words Florida G35 Club. I'm thinking that with the proper text, the black T-Shirt and the state and wording in silver that it might look a little bit better than black on white. (Bottom Left is what I'm considering, that and the initial one I posted w/ the state of FL somewhat incomplete near the Tampa area. )

Thanks again guys/gals. Now it's time to click my sig, join the club and send me a PM telling me your T-Shirt size one last time! Remember the annual membership period does not begin until March 5th (our first meet) so by signing up early you are not losing anything.

Unfortunately the fees and money just keep adding up, so you can see how important it is for me to get 20-30 people to join up right away. (This is why I’d really like people to become CHARTER MEMBERS and sign up ASAP). I don't mind taking $400 or $500 of my own money to "float" the club, but I would like to get the club up and running on its own relatively soon.

You can avoid the paypal charges by not accepting credit cards. Or have people add $1 if they use a credit card instead of a check card, money order, etc. Those fees add up quick.

Guys if you want this to work, join the club. It will need funds and $25.00 is nothing over a year. It's $.48 a week.
I think all of us can afford 48 cents a week to meet some cool people from your home state, they own G cars, and you have another excuse to travel.

What could be better for 48 cents a week to have these extra oppurtunities?

          Russ,

I want this to be an easy and painless process for everyone. If people think it's easier to use a CC, then I'm ok with losing $1.03 per transaction. Believe it or not, one of our 2 CHARTER members included an extra $5 just to help out with some of the paypal charges. I think there will be other people who will do the same thing since EVERYONE really wants this club to be a HUGE SUCCESS.
Jeff will update the website to allow people to send a check payable to ______TBD_______, I just have to open the bank account and set up the account with our club name (if they'll let me). As of now, people would have to mail a check payable to me (Todd Neff) and I'm not comfortable with asking people to do that.

Hopefully this Monday I will be able to go to the bank and get everything started.

Hey, why haven't you joined yet Russ?

Oh yeah, Jared welcome to the club! You are CHARTER MEMBER #2.

yeah your work is great....i just thought an actual recognizable infiniti logo would make the club seem, well, more real...but a no is a no...your templates are still good

Todd, what bank are you using?? I know Bank of America advertises...NO FEES...there probably is a minimum balance but checks should be free and no service charges or anything...check it out if you havent and if it does have charges...we gotta do what we gotta do...i'll join when i get back in town at the latest and will pay $26.50

Hey Jose do you ever go to any Nissan meets in So Fla? Maxima owner here

Neff, I will send you the money prior to the meet or when I get my G, whichever comes first. Don't want to do it now cause it's just making me think more and more about the G and I'm driving myself crazy

          Escobar929,

Please check back to the sticky thread at the top of the SE Forum on Monday afternoon/evening. I should have everything set up for you to mail a check out by then.

          Finiti,

You are funny. I thought for sure that you'd be the first female to join the club, then Tony went ahead and paid for 2 people and signed his wife up. I'm not even sure if she's allowed to drive the G. (j/k) Just make sure that you decide whether or not you want to join prior to Feb. 1st so that you can get your T-Shirt at the meet. Also, if you would, go to Lokey Infiniti's website and check out their specials. They flash up a $500 off sticker for the purchase of any new car. I have a feeling that JOHN will make sure our club members are WELL TAKEN CARE OF, especially those who are looking to purchase a new car. At least give them a shot once you're ready to buy...

          Merry Christmas everyone!!!

Finiti, Neffster is right. If you are in the market for a G, contact me at the dealership. I am the Service Director, and in no way a salesman, but I WILL make sure you get in touch with the people who can take good care of you. Let me know if I can help you in any way. I am confident you would be very satisfied with the level of service here.

This offer is good to any of you others as well. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you ever find yourself in need of assistance!

Thank you John first of all for hosting the meet and I really appreciate your assistance even though I won't be buying sooner than Feb - March. I look forward to meeting you at Lokey.
