WFL - Tampa/St.Pete/Clearwater Mini-Meet
The WFL Mini-Meet is TODAY!!!
Just a short reminder... Here's the info...
The next WFL Tampa/StPete/Clearwater Mini-Meet will be Saturday, April 22, at The Green Iguana, with dinner starting at 5:00pm.
Green Iguana Bar & Grill
9202 Anderson Road
Tampa, Fl 33634
(813) 288-9076
Hours 7 Days 11am - 3am
MapQuest Link
I'll try to get there around 4:00pm and find a good place for us to park. Steve mentioned a large parking lot near Veterans Theater, so I'll look for that. Don't forget the FGC Member's Cell Phone list in the FGC Member's Only forum. It might come in handy if you get lost or are running late.
There's still room for last minute people to decide to come. Just meet up at the Green Iguana Today by at least 5:00pm for dinner. Everyone is welcome...
List of Green Iguana Dinner Attendees
1. _jb (john)
2. AznLuder (steve)
3. 9825463 (Ben)
4. SFLG35 (Daniel)
5. mdemonte (Mark) not tentative
6. FOO_G (noah) ---- ^+1

It's not difficult to do, especially with two people doing it.

well folks I am not going to be comingout. I apologize; I have had a headache since lasy night and cant seem to shake it.
Well, I'm off to the Meet...
Look for a Laser Red G35 Coupe with a "Florida G35 Club" license plate holder.
Sorry it doesn't look like you're going to make it, Noah. Maybe a fast drive in your G and a good meal would help your headache... couldn't hurt.
See you all there.

The WFL meet today was a tremendous success!!! We had a good group of people, with a few new members, and a few prospective members too. Several people had been modding in secret, so there were a few surprises too.
Steve's choice of the Green Iguana was a great pick! They had our table ready and waiting. Other than a few small altercations with the waitress on bar specials (Dan!!!) the dinner was a huge success. Thanks to Steve for treating the group to peel 'em and eat 'em shrimp for everyone!
Here's the gang, left to right, clockwise around the table: Me, Steve, Moses, Ben, Dan, Amanda, and William. Obviously I'm used to taking pictures, not being in them.

After dinner we decided to go out by the Bay on Route 60 to park and shoot the breeze. Here's part of the caravan...

We lined our cars up against the seawall and dutifully got them splashed with salt water... looks like another wash coming up tomorrow... It was a great idea though... we just gathered around and chatted anout G35s, headlights, stereos, front grills, secret turn signals, and all other topics about G35s.

Amanda was kind enough to take a picture of all of us standing by our cars.

If you look close at several of these pictures you'll notice several new mods along with a new member's G35 Sedan that was very trick. I'll post a few more pictures later tonight.

Here's another one of Amanda's sunset pictures. Notice the Sedan on the far left? It belongs to Moses (G35Sedan03) who just moved to Tampa from California. Welcome to Florida and the FGC, Moses.

This is one of the nicest G35 Sedans that I've seen. Everything is nicely integrated. And check out the outside of his mirrors... what is that?

I'm sorry to say that I can't remember the name of his front end. Maybe Moses will stop by and tell us.

More to come...
