I originally selected 4:00pm because restaurants would be less crowded and it gives everyone a free Saturday night to go out with their girlfriends or family. If everyone is cool with eating a bit later on Saturday, that's fine with me.

I'd like to get the place and time set up so we can give people at least a week notice before the Meet. Thanks for pitching in, Steve!

Hey all, i'm somewhat new to Tampa, been here since october and have been trying to go to meets in tampa. The green Iguana would be perfect since I live close to it and the parking lot is big. I also want to meet all the regulars in the area and hopefully attend more meetings. So is this tomorrow at 4pm at the green iguana? I'll definitely be there for that and then some drinks afterwards.

We're talking about next Saturday, April 22, 2006. Once the time and date is finalized we want everyone to have a chance to see the message and make their plans to come. Some members don't read G35driver very often, but they like to attend.

 

I called the Green Iguana to make sure we could all sit together and determine what is required for reservations. The Green Iguana does not take reservations between Noon-3pm and between 5pm-8pm. 5:00pm is the latest time they will schedule reservations for, until after 8pm. 5:00pm sounds good to me because there will still be light outside after we eat and it's not too early.

Unless someone has a really good reason why we should change the date or time, I think we're good to go now. I'll call the Green Iguana back on Monday and make a more formal reservation. We will need to let them know how many people are coming. If you want to come, copy the attendance list from the most current message and add(paste) your name to the list.

The next WFL Tampa/StPete/Clearwater Mini-Meet will be Saturday, April 22, at The Green Iguana, with dinner starting at 5:00pm.

I'll try to get there around 4:00pm and find a good place for us to park. Steve mentioned a large parking lot near Veterans Theater, so I'll look for that. Don't forget the FGC Member's Cell Phone list in the FGC Member's Only forum. It might come in handy if you get lost or are running late.

It looks like this is going to be a pretty nice affair! Hopefully a few of our Orlando friends will drive over for a fun evening!

Yeah I'll do everything I can to make it. I might be installing a MREV that day so I do not know how fast or slow that will go.

 

I hope you can make it.

I'm also curious to see what you think of the MREV. I've read quite a bit about them, but it will be nice to get someone's first hand thoughts on it. Is it an MREV+?
