It seems like quite a while since the Tampa/St.Petersburg/Clearwater area (future WFL Region) had a Mini-Meet. How about a Meet? Most of you know Daniel (SFLG35) is our FGC VP and CFL representative, so between that and his USF classes, he's pretty busy... but I hope he chimes in here too.

Don't forget that Ian is setting up a Dyno Dayz for the Tampa people. Ian's thread is here. Note that Ian's message is in the FGC's Members Only area of the FGC's area of the G35driver web forum. You have to join the Member's only area to participate in these messages. It's free for FGC members, but you must join. There's a sticky message at the top of this forum that explains how to join.

The last few Tampa Mini-Meets have been lunch or dinner Meets at Quaker Steak & Lube or Hooters. I'm always open to Meets at those places, but it might be time for something new, too.

Several of us also talked about a Lakeland Meet that would be halfway between Tampa and Orlando. Does anyone in the FGC live in Lakeland? If anyone from the Orlando FGC gang is reading this and would like to meet in Lakeland to look for a restaurant with good parking, let me know and I'll meet you over there.

Anyone have any other ideas?

If anyone from out of town is stopping by Lokey for an install or maintenance, we usually try to schedule a Mini-Meet around that, so, let us know if you're coming over.

I'd also like to stop by RZ Racing some time to look at wheels. I've never been there, so I'd like to stop by with some other people that know their way around. Maybe we could meet for lunch in Tampa and shoot over to RZ afterwards.

I found a Lakeland restaurant list through MapQuest.

I'm hoping that someone who lives in Lakeland will pop up and recommend a few good places.

 

I'm down for anywhere (lakeland/tampa/st pete)...just has to be on a weekend.

Cool! I've never been there, but I've heard a lot about it.

We should be able to set up going to RZ in the next week or two.

The Z-Tube is a great mod. Just remember, modding is addictive...

Volk SF Winnings in Mercury Silver are my current favorite.

I'm thinking that Saturday would probably be best for both the Lakeland and RZ meets.

I wasn't in Tampa this weekend, so it wasn't me.

 

I'm looking at rims for the coupe. Right now my favorites are Maya GR5's in a 20 inch.

How about here for the meet? My wife works with a woman from Lakeland and she said this is a rather nice place. Not sure if you all want a mello sit down or something more raucous.

I can scope the place out if you want. I figured since we are driving imports... When in Japan do as the Japanese.
