Well I thought I would have bought it by now but I am mired in this suspension issue. I am on the fence about buying the mrev+.

I might just start with the spacer but I need to finger out what I am goig to do with these springs. I have some Eibach Pros on the way, should arrive on the 20th, and not certain if I a going to sue them now.

I should know by Thursday if I can come out to GI.

I was really looking forward to this mini-meet, but I won't be able to make it this saturday because I will be in Orlando. That, and my car will be in the shop because some drunk f**ker rammed my parked car this weekend at Hyde Park Cafe and took off...about 1k in damages coming out of my pocket...I'm so pissed!!! Every time there's a meet my car is in the shop for something.

Hopefully I'll make it to the Lakeland meet, or the next Tampa one.

 

HATED! Sorry about the hit and run. My Lincoln LS was a hit and run victim multiple times.

I'm still trying to get the Lakeland Meet sorted out. I was hoping that we would have a member in Lakeland, but that doesn't appear to be the case. I know you recommended a Sushi restaurant, but I'm not sure how popular that would be.

I'll probably make a list of acceptable restaurants from the Lakeland Restaurant Guide I found, then drive over and check a couple of them out. I imagine the Lakeland Meet will still be a several weeks away. We'll want to have more notice so people in WFL and Orlando can plan to come.

I have a table for fifteen reserved at the Green Iguana restaurant this Saturday for the Tampa/St.Pete/Clearwater Mini-Meet. Plenty of room for last minute arrivals...

 

No worries. I dont knwo the menu of the resturant not even certain if they do sushi. I know some folks dont dig asian cuisine but from what I have heard the resturant is clean and hip.

there is a hooters on hwy 98 but it is rather dirty looking place. Lakeland is just in a bit of disrepair as a whole. I'll see what else I can find out about what is in the area.

 

A few of my friends grew up in lakeland...I'll ask them if they recommend anything.

How you liking those SF Winnings? I think they're gorgeous wheels, but I've never actually seen any in person. I'm looking forward to seeing yours at one of these meets.

 

there is a Don Pablos on 98. It might be easier to find out what everyone might be in the mood for. Pizza, Steak, sea food, burgers...

 

My friend told me about a steak restaurant called the Texas Cattle Company...he said around $20 for steak. Its in downtown lakeland. The link below has a list of several other Restaurants in downtown.

Also, he told me a lot of car clubs meet up at a Bennigans down there, but I'm not sure if you guys want to go to the usual (Applebees, Fridays, Chilis, etc.) or go to a different restaurant.

I agree with getting everyones opinion on what they want to eat first. I personally like Don Pablos, haven't been there in a long time.

 

They're great...although I mangaged to curb rash them already, but it isn't very noticable (I have the worst luck with this car!).

Yeah, I never saw them in person until they were delivered, but I figured anything that looks good in pictures usually looks nicer in person. Hopefully I'll be able to make it to the next meet and you can see them in person...I was really looking forward to this weekend, but oh well.

I do drive to clearwater and occasionally to St Pete near the Tyrone area for work everyday...maybe you'll see me on the road...

 

On that same exit with Don Pablos are many other new resturants. I just got off the phone with my wifes friend that lies out there and she said Exit 32 is the best spot to exit. Hooters is there, then there is smokey bones, beef obradeys, etc etc...
