Week nights are no go for me. My wife is going to USF 3 night out of the week and studying pretty much all the other nights.

I see G's rolling around all the time. In fact, does anyone own a black G rolling on aftermarket rims (don't know what kind) and exhaust that was driving on Memorial Highway around noonish on Thurs? I was sitting in an IP G, making a left when they drove by

We're actually talking about Friday a week from today, not today.

Some people can't come during the week, and some people don't want to come on the weekend. My thoughts are that since everyone *can* come on the weekend, maybe that's better.

My other real thoughts are that we should have more Mini-Meets than we currently have... some during the week and some on weekends... that way everyone can come to some of the Mini-Meets.

That sounds a bit lofty since we're having trouble getting the first meet going. I'm going to post another tentative meeting date in my next post. I think we do better when someone selects a date beforehand, rather than everyone just throwing out comments.

 

Weekends are no good for me. Neither are weekdays, odd numbered days, days with the letter "E" in them, and oh yea, february 29th's.

I don't think WFL peeps have issues.

Since most of you have indicated that you can come on a weekend, let's schedule a WFL MiniMeet for next Saturday, April 22 at 4:00pm in the afternoon. I don't think we'll be able to get a table for ten or fifteen people in a Tampa restaurant any later than that... That will give us a bit of time to shoot the breeze in the parking lot and still eat before the crowds start.

Action Item - Can a couple of you USF Tampa guys suggest a good place to eat that has good parking? Dan, Todd, and Steve... You all live close to USF... Got any ideas for a good place? If you don't, I can always choose the Biff-Burger down the street from my house in St. Petersburg. (That should get everyone hopping!)

ps: Dan... I don't think a few beers at Peabody's qualifies as dinner... Sorry.

 

It's not near USF, but I like Green Iguana on Anderson. Good food, drinks, atmosphere. Also, a large parking lot by the veterans theater. If we make a reservation for x number of people, we can do it at night.
