No problem man.

I got around to installing my tranny filter last night. It seems to have made a surprising difference. The shifts seem "happier". They were kind of cranky before.

I'm going to run this filter for a couple of thousand miles then pull it and cut it open to see how much crud it ends up trapping.

Look forward to the filter results. How did your fluid look?

Fluid looked fine. I didn't fully drain it or anything though. That's just based off of what I saw spill out of the lines when I rerouted them.

It seems to have helped out with my low RPM slippage. Fairly surprising.

How did you replace the spilled fluid? Or was it not significant loss? I've got my parts. Now I'm trying to decide how to sync w/ a tranny flush at the dealer. Should I install it first but not hook up, let them flush, then hook it up? Or hook it all up right before the flush (minus the filter I guess)?

I put about 3/4 quarts of new fluid back into it. There wasn't a lot of spillage but it's a pretty big filter. I figured a at least a half quart just for it's volume.

My filter is directional (must be installed in the direction of flow). Can someone confirm which is the line returning back to the transmission?

The passenger side into the radiator is coming from the transmission. The drivers side is the return.

thank you! Was having a devil of a time finding a diagram in the service manual that showed the flow direction...
