I want to supercharge my car but the motor has 170k on it. Is it worth it. The motor is amazing and been with me since 123000 mi. Oil change every 2500 mi and I have a couple bolt ons. Still running great.

With that many miles it's not worth it.. Rebuild it first..

I have this feeling that the miles mean nothing. Not judging your answer but why is it that it would be unsafe? What is the difference between a high mileage motor and a not so high mileage one? I know its been running longer but I feel that time doesn't weaken or damage the motor. Is there any other way to determine whether the motor can handle a supercharge; compression test or something? Don't mean to annoy but I just feel that my motor has been very well maintained and has a long life ahead and can handle supercharge.
BTW. thanks for answering a lot of my questions Frankieg35. I know your username when I see it

Have a competent shop do a compression and leak down test and that will give you the answer you need.If all comes out well i would advise a lower boost setup.
