yeah something like a vortech, exhaust and tune would be 100% CARB legal and get you close to 380whp. You can probably get away with the 3.12 pulley too. If they happen to catch that during inspection, then you just put the stock 3.33 pulley back on

I've been debating this for a while myself... and I can't justify the cost. This car is my daily driver, and will never see the track (not until it's paid off anyway)... I can't see spending all that cash for something I'm not going to use - just to be faster than the guy next to me on the street isn't a good enough reason anymore. I have 2 other cars I track, and those are the ones I modify the hell out of - plus they're older models and cost WAY less to upgrade and repair when something breaks. The TT is cool as hell, no doubt... but for me unless you're tracking it or it's a show car, it won't be worth the cost and headaches involved.

And an investment is something you can potentially make money on... this is only going to end up costing an arm and leg heheh Good luck with whatever you choose!

Exactly my thought ! Same goes for my HFC's, the OEM's would bolt back on in 45 min.

that's true. Just don't get caught with them. I heard in CA it's a $5000 fine if you're caught not running stock cats or something crazy like that

it's supposed to be a $10k fine out here, but you know how those BS laws hold up in court

Not worth it for this huge & HEAVY car. Get a pure sporst car like a RX-7 (FD3S), install some bolt-on's, an ECU, and you will see some NICE gains.
