The L19 studs can be trqed down to a higher level than the ARP2000's. Sam has a valid point, and so do I, and in speaking with ARP, I feel confident using the L19's.

We had a basketcase car that was brought to our shop for fix up, and it had the L19's installed and run for 1 year. When we took the engine apart, there were no signs of corrossion whatsoever. That's really all the evidence I have.

I respect Sam's opinion, and he respects mine as well. It's all good.

Gman, is your car at GTM?

My car is not at GTM yet. I am taking a road trip to Socal for a business trip next week so since I will be in Sam's neck of the woods I am going to drop it off and just fly home. I have to go back again next month so I will fly out and drive back home. Should be a fun drive home with an extra 100whp.

My builder Kyle @ imports parts pro suggested the ARP 2000 head stud kit. I am retaining my stock valves and seats. and just going with a grind anf flow for the heads.
Question: Is the U-Tec pretty simple to use? program changes of the fly and such.
What about LSD options?
Will the stock fuel system be able to handel this load?

Oil Pan

Sinister350GT,

Is the oil pan of the kit made out of steel painted in black or aluminum? I have seen some pictures of the kit that the oil pan is in silver color.

Thanks.

So after 12 weeks of gathering and ordering parts. I have entered the Finial Assembly Stage.

Above is a picture of the Block we are currently staging the turbo setup. There is still alot of prep that needs to take place on the car.
More pics to come.

As for how its going to get to the road? For now it will be a dyno queen.
My wife will kill me if I spend any more this year.
However. There will be 19X10.5 on the rear and 8.5 in the front for wheels.
Lowering 1" with springs. Sway bars and traction bars.
Thats about all I have planned so far.
What do you suggest?

Let me help you out a lill

SEPC or ACT 6 or 4 PAD Heavy duty Pres plate clutch kit,
LTW flywheel,
longer gears in your diff,
may need axles(strong ones) if going ova 650 HP,
Stoptech, or Brembo brake kit or higher (4 to 8 pistions),
Goodridge Steel lines,
GOOD compound tires, At least a 285 or bigger for rear if you going 10.5 rear,
not just springs. get a coilover kit (Tein)
Race fuel,
Oil cooler,
Proper tuning.
