planning on FI.. just trying to fig how much to save
hey I'm not scaring anybody but I would look to get those parts to be really safe. those parts are all brand new and he can save on some if he want to get some used part. Also self install is an option and will save him at least $1K he can also cut on the gauges and just get at least 2 and not worry about the clutch. You can't compare SS to Utec and Utec has lots more bells and whistle but SS will do the job. Like I said if it was me then I'll go this route and that is the reason I know the exact price
Then MRC gave me an offer I cant refuse so I went Turbo

I'm sure he doesnt want be saving up an arm and leg for yrs but gradually start off with the basic setup and then slowly upgrade as he gets use to the boost. He already stated he wanted to be in the range of 4-6K which is in the ball park around 360hp/300tq with your basic 3.33 pulley.

yeah id definitely go for a basic setup.. i dont plan on putting too much strain on it.. jus need it to last a while until i build more funds to get the rest.. i wouldnt doubt id spend 5-10k more, just not all at once..
as of now, im just trying to get my NA mods, then save for a few months, get a basic FI setup, pay that off over a few months.. save some more, buy things lil by lil til i get it all straight
oh, and i just rode in a g35 TT, dyno'd 493hp, 495 torque... and holy ****... my first tt ive been in and it was ****in amazing!!

My advice if you are really set to go with FI is just forget the NA part for now and save right away for a basic SC Kit and run that stock. NA (HFC, Exhaust, Intake, Spacer) with install will run you at least $2K. Might as well save a few more and buy the SC (new or used) and be happy with it and then upgrade as you go along. With the very basic setup you will run 300+whp easy and really be safe and you can actually feel the power, not like a $2k worth of NA mod that you can barely notice a difference. JMHO
For over a year my only mod was the MREV+ coz that is the only mod that does give good gain and I saved the rest of my money for a standard kit. People belittle me coz I have pretty much a stock car but what most don't know is that I know better not to spend on NA stuff if I'm dead set on FI. Go think hard first before you start spending money and really plan every step, good luck.

heh im still stalling at lights or comming out of reverse
not often, maybe a once every few days, but still need a lot of work
/\ I've been driving stick since forever and the g35 clutch is the hardest to master. I have friends that can really drive and every time they drive my car they all look like an armature. Upgrade the clutch/FW and that will solve the problem or get that new kit that I have been hearing around (D-Wolf Clutch Kit) that supposedly improve the clutch play for $40.

What Honda clutch are much better than Nissan. Oh, I'm not sure if you have an 07 or Nissan have upgraded the clutch on 07 but 03-05 are just hard to be consistent 100% of the time. Maybe it's just my car or worst me
..... Nah, I blame the the car

He said supporting mods and I think these are good supporting mod that has the potential to grow and added safety.
