But after reading, you haven't decided. But since you were considering, I thought you would know what you are buying.

I think over 600 wheel is a little to much for a DD, plus i would have to have some head work done. And if i didnt go over 600whp with a TT i would find it pointless going TT. But with the ST i can still get the headwork and spray a little more IF i needed.
I figure the extra 2 grand+ i save from doing the install my self and going with a ST i can invest toward Pistons and rods.
Thats just me.
But thanks for letting me know about the APS fitting..

and you cannot just replace it with a bigger turbo, you cant even put a true GT35R on it, the compressor housing that comes with the kit is way smaller so it will fit. the turbo sits about half a cm from the frame rail and other parts of the car. there is no way in hell the kit is capable of 500hp at the wheels. several have tried, all have failed.
trust me its not worth it, even for that price.

the ST has had problems with the internal wastegate/actuators. not saying everyone with the ST did, but there has been a reported amount of people with it. not to mention, with the APS ST, please be aware of the oil scavenge pump as some failed and had smoking issues. there's an external wastegate option for the kit (or was it custom?) regardless, i think turbonetics is the only ST to go in my opinion. otherwise, if you are serious about building a FI monster, go twins... it's worth the investment.
Stay away for the APS ST. The Turbo sits way too low. The oil scavenge pump issue is a bitch. The seals on the Turbo leak. It has good power but stay away, unless you like having your car in the shop.
