Finally getting boosted have a few ?

So I finally convinced myself to fork out the cash and go with the Vortech SATIN SC full kit. Is there anything I should worry about or precautions I should take prior to the install? I am having a local shop here in Canoga park do the basic install with the ss box, but I was planning to take it to GTM in about a month to change to the 3.12 pulley and get a tune. The shop installing the kit is doing a before and after dyno and will be welding a bung for the o2 sensor so I can get it tuned in the future. The shop mainly works on American cars, but has done many 350z and g35. They were on the Vortech dealer locator and are not even 1 block away from my office. I ordered the kit yesterday and it should be here by the end of next week.

Is there anything I should tell him to do that you guys wished you told your installer. I opted not to get any gauges but am giving it a thought. I am looking for a very safe and reliable setup.

I will keep you guys posted with lots of pics =). The company information is below, they are right next door to superchargersonline.com

EXTREME AUTOMOTIVE
7901 CANOGA AVE
CANOGA PARK, CA 91304

Thank you

Bashar

You can't go wrong with GTM. They are a bit pricey but it is well worth it. Just go to my350z.com to see what GTM has done with Vortechs on G's and Z's (including mine! ). They just completed a Vortech'd Z putting down 454whp!! Good luck bro and let me know if you have any questions.

extreme auto and vortec

extreme auto did my vortec and it took two weeks - i have an 03 with auto trans and the wiring diagram from vortec was for the later cars (04 and older) also i had a hell of a time getting the fuel/air right so i wouldnot hurt the engine. the only guy who seemed to be able was Mark (owner of "Split Second" and designer of our black box.

call me if you have questions jim at 949-644-4740
