Is the supercharger worth it?

I am also getting the Exedy clutch and lightened flywheel combo. Sam is going to re-tune and see what she puts down now. I should easily be over 400whp but Sam is going to do a somewhat conservative tune for safety and reliability so we will see.

with all those chit, I'll be really really disappointed if you don't hit 400+whp. Give us an update on the Water/Meth coz I'm thinking of adding one by spring.

well, i do have the spacer (3/8), ztube and k&n filter, but the gain, although good, is not as well as i like it to be.
the other day, i test drove an evo, and i wanted to see if how i can get similar boost / kick / acceleration.

[not my car, but mine sounds the same, Vortech with an HKS SSQV blow off valve]

That vidoe is sick. Nice setup, and nice kick. how fast is the 0-60 on those two g35's? Is the SC and blow off valves the only mods on them?

Any thoughts on it? (specifically safetly issues?)

. Just my 2 cents.....
I think im leaning more over getting the vortetch sc with the aftercooler and that direct shot of nitrous in the aftercooloer. Whats that called by the way?
How much do u think that setup would run me? Im lookin to go 400whp or under. I dont wanna build

. With your basic breathing mods (i.e. test pipes, exhaust, plenum spacer, etc) and a 3.12 pulley you should be able to hit 400's in the winter.

You may be able to find a Vortech tuner kit for about $3500. Check out the group buy section in the marketplace. Performance Factory has some good deals on Vortechs, awesome guys to do business with too. But if you go with the tuner kit, you'll need engine management (i.e. UTEC), which is gonna run you another $800-900. And then you'll need a MAP sensor for the UTEC. Labor will probably vary widely depending on who does it, but an experienced shop may be the best bet.
As for the nitrous, no idea. But if it were me, I'd go all out and get something crazy like the NCM-2 control module. You can set it to purge only at a specific throttle setting. Turn on the unit, accelerate, and at WOT you purge.
