Here is the article for those who can't find it.

Dream Workes Unveils New Advanced Supercharger System
Monday, February 23, 2004 by Rob Granger

Dream Workes' goals were not to be the first product to market, but to be the finest quality product to market. Choosing not to bolt a supercharger adaptor to the lower intake manifold, Dream Workes designed a full-length runner system with dual intercoolers, an off throttle bypass valve, high-flow fuel rails, and rear quill drive so as the system would fit under the stock hood, needing no modifications.

All this requires specialized machining closer to OEM than typical aftermarket specifications. Dream Workes' supercharger system replaces the existing manifold at the head manifold face so all the features in the standard manifold, like injector mounting positions and fuel rail mountings, are accurately machined into the new parts.

Features include angled flange faces that seal to the cylinder heads, bores in which the injectors seal against boost pressure, intercooler flange faces and mountings, as well as the integrated supercharger rotor housing.

Dream Workes' full-length runner system allows the company's roots-type supercharger to work more efficiently than a standard roots-type system. Standard aftermarket systems seem to require more boost, creating more heat to operate at the same level or horsepower potential of the Dream Workes system. The end result is a completely new induction system from the cylinder heads back.

Dream Workes forced induction systems carry a three-year, 36,000 mile power train warranty and the Stage 1 system is CARB legal. Delivery begins spring 2004.

Man that sounds like a sweet setup. Anyone have any ballpark figures on price? I may be jumping to conclusions but so far this system seems like it will be pretty safe for your engine and it will do so without holding back power gains. I defintely have my eye on it!!

Re: First pics of Dreamworkes Supercharger kit!

I have another pic on my home computer that is not posted on the inet... It shows a close up picture of the non powder-coated version... If someone can resize for me I would gladly send it them them via e-mail or AIM. Price is expected to be in the 6200 range (which I THINK includes warranty 3yr/36k miles). Expect installation to be quite pricey as the kit is pretty comprehensive...

Re: First pics of Dreamworkes Supercharger kit!

This all looks VERY VERY nice!

Heres one to think about though. If you have a G thats 2 years old with 36k on it and you get this does that mean that your powertrain warranty is now 5 years 96k miles? In other words would getting this effectivly extend you warranty? I mean an extended powertrain warranty that comes with a supercharger sounds like a sweet deal to me.

Re: First pics of Dreamworkes Supercharger kit!

Goran from Dreamworkes called me last night from his cell. He said that the kit is expected to release the end of march for the G35 coupe. They are sorting out some intake issues and fine tuning the kit.

Re: First pics of Dreamworkes Supercharger kit!

The details on the kit are nice but I want more on the warranty. I mean to put something that new on the car that supposedly comes with a powertrain warranty it better be a damn good warranty.

Ah..yes the coupe..always for the coupe. I hope they figure out that sedan owners are the ones with the least horsepower and the most wanting of an upgrade.
