Not all wastegate perform equally and that goes with every part (Injector, FMIC, BOV, EMS, Boost Controller, and even the kind of Turbo you get). hhhmm, I'll take a BB Turbo any day than a non BB. I'll also take Greddy Profec B/HKS EVC VI Boost Controller over a Manual any day. I will take a Bar/Plate design FMIC over a Tube/Fine design, and I can go on and on with different parts.

the greddy/mitsu turbos aren't BBs and we all know how well they work. the OP doesn't need to go with BB turbos.

Mine isn't BB also and it works great too I'm just making a point to the other poster that not all parts are equal so you get what you pay for. I wish I have an EBC so I can set my boost on every gear but I have Utec BCS. Utec BCS is very cheap so I get what I paid for

I completely agree with you. I was only talking about kits produced and sold.

A little update on progress.
Bought a roll of stainless steel mig wire for $26.00
Fabbed up the cross over pipes today, just waiting for the turbo to finish the up pipe and then heat wrap it.
