Did their revving cause you to break the law when you otherwise wouldn't have been predisposed to do so? Maybe... but probably not - they could just as easily argue that anyone not predisposed to race wouldn't race when someone revs at them.
Consider this similar situation which I was once in - A cop comes up on your as$ on the highway, and it's nighttime so you can't tell it is a cop behind you. This cop is driving faster than you are, then pulls up close to you and doesn't change lanes. Eventually you speed up to get in front of the cars in the right lane and then change lanes. Just as you are doing so, his lights go on, and he pulls you over for speeding. Did this cop "entrap" you to break the speed limit? According to the state of Missouri - No. You shouldn't break the speed limit under any circumstances.

This is BS no matter how you slice it. Instead of doing this these cops should spend money on ways to have kids race safely and legally like they do in SD. Racing around and speeding to catch speeders make them no better than the people they are after. WTF is happening to our country!?!
