quick question on changing vortech air filter

i just bought a filter from superchargeronline.. i was wondering if comes oiled or do i need to oil it myself?? thanks

From: Council Bluffs Ia.
It should say if it pre-oiled . If it is a K&N filter...yes...its pre-oiled . You also should be able to touch the it and feel the oil

damn i didnt know there is a hose going to the air filter.. it doesnt even come predrilled.. so now i gota drill a hole!

I didnt hook the hose back up once I got a new filter . I just let in dangle down out of the way

hmm well does that matter?? is there any pros and cons of doing that?

The reason its on the intake filter , is to cause a little vacuum on the crank case . Just venting it never hurts anything

i'd just put a breather fiilter on the hose to keep anything out of it.
