I gave u 6 since u asked so nicely

Sorry OP, back on topic:

If there were to be a T/TT to gain carb exemption for our cars, the JWT TT would have the best shot imho.
Cool, now compare this list to the long list of other turbo kits that are not carb approved. i still win....

The End

Since when was this a contest?

You said there were no carb approved turbo kits, I called you out on it, and you asked for proof. I went above and beyond what you asked for and proved you wrong. But apparently you are too childish to realize this.

I already graduated law school, passed the bar, and am a licensed attorney. I win.

Carb vs Non-Carb FI...really, who cares? I'd bet that most people who look into FI are pretty much saying "Screw you, Cali Carb *****".

Vortech would seem to be a good choice for you op, but I'd be concerned about QC with the recent number of reported failures.

If something goes wrong w/ the Vortech/ATI/HKS SC you could still drive around w/out the cog belt connected? Not possible with a turbo kit.
The 05-06 s/c kits are not carb approved?

Not true. I would actually say that a good majority of people in Cali are worried about CARB. Yes we would like to say FU to the Cali ***** but that isn't gonna do you any good if you get busted. I, and a lot of other people in Cali, ended up going with the Vortech for this exact reason. I would rather be TT to tell you the truth but it's just not worth it IMO. That's not to say that I am not happy with my Vortech setup. I am very but if there was no such thing as CARB, I would be TT.

Yeah...then they wake up to reality and find out how much money they will spend in fines/court fees & un-installation/reinstallation.

I didn't mean "screw you" in the literal sense. I meant it more along the lines of "You gotta pay to play", and that if i were to run a TT kit, i would also be aware of what i'm at risk for.

Which brings me to my next question:
*If you get pulled w/ a TT kit, obviously you'd have to remove it. But wouldn't the fine be the equivalent of a "fix-it" ticket? Or is there a fee you have to pay the Ref?
