Yeah... You best avoid going FI. You really should budget for just in case something goes wrong and at 2K that is just not realistic. The kits alone cost around 2-3K. There's a member here who recently built his own and noted the costs. He saved quite a lot, but still spent more then 2K.

Budget wont be an issue, it can go higher or lower as needed, 2k was just a starting point. What i want to know is what is better for the car without the integrity of the car being bought into question...

So you've basically got $4000 USD (not sure everyone else did the conversion),, no way FI is in your future, get some simple bolt ons and a tune and reevaluate how you like the car

Hey guys Vortech V3 will be in my car soon and im planning on installing walbro255 and dw600cc injector before getting tuned. I will have to ride about 375miles to get to the tuner. Is it too far or should be ok considering that i will remove the cog belt and going down there slowly.
???

^too far. have him send you a basic tune in email.

or

install injectors & fuel pump at the shop AFTER you drive there with no belt on the supercharger. That would be the last resort.

***edit: if he sends you a basic tune then use your belt. Just dont go HAM on the basic tune.

When running without the belt to do the ride to get tuned... should it be a good idea to disconnect the vaccum line on BPV to prevent any dirt to be sucked in?

Does anyone know how much the stock injectors/fuel pump can handle with a twin turbo kit before needing to upgrade the fuel system?

Ive searched and couldnt really find a direct answer. Hoping someone with some knowledge could chime in.

I have a TT setup that I am about to install but Im not looking to push crazy numbers. Just something a little under 400whp or at 400whp. Could the stock injectors/fuel pump get me there?
