Yes Constant misfire is not normal but sometimes you'll get misfire especially on startup once in a while (I get them maybe 1 every 2 months) because of the colder plugs and bigger injector.

I got the same codes as mentioned above, only happened at idle but I hated that damn check engine light being on all the time. I now have the GTM reflash and I never get a misfire anymore.

yeah just to add back up to what they said, random misfire code on start up or idle is normal with the bigger injectors and colder plugs.

I got it a couple times last winter...havent seen it since.

Hey G35 not get too personal in your build but didn't the HKS kit cost around 8,000? and if so why did you choose that over a turbo kit.

ahh very simple, carb-exempt Also the area where I live cops are becoming d1cks about these things, and I don't want to deal with it. Trust me I went through many nights thinking about this, i was very close from going with a jwt tt but I just chose the hks, not only that i love the brand hks itself personally.

Gotcha, I'm not a brand name person myself but the CARB thing does keep me up at nights every year or 2...haha.

Come to think of it my Vortech for the measly price of 3,000 produced 440rwhp and 330trq, maybe I should go back to that and sleep easier

If your using the basic emanage you could have run a bit rich and simply got a misfire in that cylinder at one time, the ECU will store the trouble code..Is the car still missfiring?
