I NEED more power!

A lot of you already know i've got the vortech full kit on my 05 5at, it dynoed on a dynapack at 387 rwhp. Last night I took it to the track for the first time thinking it would be LOW 13's possibly. It was about 60-65 degrees out and I ran consistent 13.6 second quarter miles.

My question is, is that about right 13.6? If so I want more power!! now I know the smaller pulley will give me more power but ideally I want to run high 12's low 13's what do I need specifically for that...

you were the dude that had incredibly high numbers on a stock vortech full kit right?

If so, your numbers are off and you now know that for sure.

1. Time for more boost, lighten the weight, different suspension settings, different rear end+lsd, different wheels and tires (big blingy volks are generally not light unless you have Te's or Le's, and even at that 19's are too large), etc.

Temp like I said was cold anywhere from 58-67 degrees.

Virtually no spin in either of these runs, tires were pretty warm, my two worst runs were 14 seconds flat, tire spin and I didn't realize I had VDC on and it kicked in in the begining.

Last run, best run...

R/T - .342
60' - 2.219
330 - 5.909
1/8 - 8.923
MPH - 81.63
1000 - 11.483
1/4 - 13.646
MPH 103.46

First run, second best run...

R/T -.542
60' - 2.272
330 - 5.965
1/8 - 8.964
MPH - 82.03
1000 - 11.515
1/4 - 13.689
MPH - 102.95

next time you goto the track put the stock wheels on w/ some drag radials

that will help a lil but you gotta work on your 60ft, what rpm are you brake torquing at?
